In 1937, Colonel Robert R. McCormick founded a town around his paper mill, Québec North Shore Paper, the same one that produced newsprint for the Chicago Tribune, of which he was president. A remarkable, inspiring and visionary man that you will meet at the helm of his canoe. Your guided tour will also pass by Place La Salle and its historical monuments, by the mysterious Parc de le Grotte as well as by the impressive Sainte-Amélie church, in the Dom Bellot style with its frescoes worthy of the Sistine Chapel, which you will enjoy discovering.

The service can be booked online, costs vary per person. Approximately 2 schedules are available each day. The average duration of the activity is 2 hours. The service is available from June 15 to September 29, 2024.

 

Your guide will greet you at the Biosphere fountain adjacent to 55 Place Lasalle for this two (2) hour tour. Throughout the tour, your guide will tell you fun and especially interesting anecdotes. This human dimension will add pleasure to your tour.
