Fishing in the city

Different accesses are now available to make fishing accessible, simple and entertaining for families and people who want to learn this activity. The two species to fish are trout and perch.

 

Amedee River
Two quays, one near the Amédée footbridge and the other near the intersection of De Bretagne and Baron streets, in addition to a path and small approaches upgraded on the part of the river flowing near the shooting range.

 

Lake Provencher

A quay accessible via the Chapleau Avenue trail entrance


Lake Leven
A quay accessible by the path that leaves from the parking lot on Avenue De Maisonneuve

 

Ethier Lake
A restored boat launch. This lake is located near the km 4 marker along the Toulnustouc path


Lake Bernard
Rocky approaches for wading. This lake is the first on the right when going up the path to Lac La Loutre located at km 10 of the 389.

Cypress Lake Outfitter


From Baie-Comeau, head towards Sept-Îles, up to the Toulnustouc road (Mont Ti-basse). From there, drive to kilometer 67, turn right onto the forest road indicated by an outfitter sign and follow the signs for the remaining 24 km to your destination.
